BloodSwim (2021)

During the pandemic, I took two gap semesters to work on the adult animation short Bloodswim (2021), a mystery-thriller about a woman and her new beau who owns a private pool. The partially remote project was directed by animation artist and educator Jake Zhang, who invited me to join the core team and develop pitch visuals. It was granted funding from the Hong Kong Animation Support Program, and we created 7 minutes of animation over the course of 9 months with a small team of animators based in Hong Kong and across Asia.

I contributed visual development and story revision in the pre-production phase, then went on to be character animation lead and FX support, as well as AE compositor in post-production.
